Solution world

Our company's products and drive solutions are suitable for a variety of applications and can be individually adapted and modified depending on customer requirements. That's why our customer structure is as diverse as our product range. In addition to classic industrial customers, we also serve highly specialized global market leaders with specific requirements. Our range extends from automatic testing machines for tobacco products to mobile air conditioning units. What sets us apart is a high degree of flexibility, especially when it comes to small quantities. The only limitation we know of is physics. But we are always working to push these boundaries further.

Experience and innovation

The history of MICROSTEP GmbH began in 1991 on the site of the former office machine factory in Sömmerda. Stepper motors have been developed and produced here since 1975 and were used primarily in writing and printing technology. This specific knowledge, combined with highly qualified employees and ongoing modernization and expansion of our production facilities, forms the foundation of our ongoing success.
Since our beginnings, we have continuously expanded our product range. The production of linear actuators began as early as 1993, and they still make up an important part of our product range in various series.
Our standard hybrid stepper motors continue to serve as the basis for further developed drive series and special solutions. By varying, modifying and integrating design elements, we have developed drives such as linear actuators, lifting-rotary actuators, double-shaft motors with two independent drive shafts or geared stepper motors that are individually tailored to the needs of our customers.
Through close cooperation with universities, colleges and research institutions, we have constantly expanded our scientific and technical know-how. Today this knowledge is reflected in innovative and technically sophisticated products.
